When my sweetheart returned from his one year deployment in Iraq, we spent 6 unforgettable nights at Prairie Springs Cottage. The cottage and ranch is a magical place; it was the perfect environment for him to decompress in peace and quiet and beauty.
Barry and Sandy were not only gracious hosts, they went above and beyond the call of duty. My soldier was looking forward to having some moist chocolate cake and when I asked the Clay's to recommend a bakery, the next day Barry brought us a delicious chocolate cake Sandy had baked for my soldier! It touched us both very deeply and I hope I am blessed the opportunity to return to the cottage and see the Clay's again.
And you couldn't ask for a more convenient location near Fort Riley, Manhattan and Konza Prairie Preserve.
I have stayed in many, many vacation rentals and Prairie Springs Cottage was by far the best rental experience I have ever had. I will never forget it, or the Clay's. My soldier and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
